This site does the best job possible considering the circumstances. A color analyst has done this site, enabling one to see how a color analyst goes about determining a person's best color palette. Their blog that shows a little about how an analyst would determine one's palette. This website uses

deep/light (dark/light

warm/cool (golden/blue)

clear/soft (bright/muted)

Color analysis on the net presents some problems:

These analyzes are done from photographs, put up on the web and readers are enlisted to help determine the palettes. More than one picture of each person is presented. Since the shades of color are different from one picture to the other of the same person, correct color analysis is almost impossible.

Under archives, Julijia is analyzed as possibly a summer. But there aren't enough palettes presented to determine her colors correctly. She is a winter who can wear some summer colors. Her hair is too dark for her to be a summer. In a private consultation an analyst would be determining from all 12 palettes. For some reason a winter into summer is hard for many analysts to determine. Laurel was at a Color Me Beautiful seminar once and the analysts were asked her season. They were stumped. Of course they weren't doing the scarf thing - they were just asked off the top of their heads. When they were told she was a winter into summer they were stunned.
